A família Kass passou a maior parte de sua longa carreira em hospitalidade no sul da Flórida. Irving e sua esposa Susan se mudaram para o norte da Flórida em 2001. A família Kass comprou sua casa em St. Augustine em 2001, onde criou sua filha Katie.
Em 2004, após uma carreira de 25 anos em algumas das empresas hoteleiras mais respeitadas da América, Irving e sua família compraram a Pousada São Jorge. A liderança de Irving como executivo sênior da KSL Recreation, afiliada da KKR, trouxe uma experiência de classe mundial para nossa pousada. O envolvimento de Irving com aquisições e gestão do Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, Traverse City MI, The Doral Golf Resort and Spa, Miami, The Doral Ocean Beach Resort, Miami Beach, Bonaventure Resort & Spa, Weston e vários hotéis Hyatt moldou sua carreira. Após se formar na FSU, Irving ingressou na Hyatt Hotels e foi executivo da Hyatt antes de voltar para o sul da Flórida.
Irving foi mentor de vários líderes do turismo; sua influência abrange tanto a liderança cívica quanto a empresarial. Irving foi ex-vice-presidente da Miami e da The Beaches Lodging Association. Ex-vice-presidente da Michigan Lodging Association, ex-presidente do St. Johns County Visitor Convention Bureau e presidente do Tourist Development Council. Desde 2004, a família possui e opera o hotel boutique, que agora é uma das propriedades mais bem avaliadas no centro de St. Augustine.

- VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY - My wife and I have stayed in many B & B's in St Augustine over the last 20 years. We have been staying at The St George Inn for about the last 8 years exclusively. The buildings have been very well managed and upgraded. A good feature that I like it the sound proofing. We do not hear the trolley's or the people outside our windows as they stroll down St George St or as we overlook the cemetery. This is located across from the fort and the old city gate entrance. There are many good things I can say about this establishment. We walk the city after dark, take my camera and shoot pictures of ORBS. A walking ghost tour is well worth the money and time.
- GREAT GETAWAY - This is my "Go to" in St. Augustine. I've been staying here for years. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and they treat you like family when you are there. The rooms are beautiful and accommodating. The location is perfect, especially when it's very hot or rainy. You can walk around then take a break from the heat or rain and head back out later without having to drive back and forth. The St. George Inn is a must stay if you are visiting St. Augustine.
- GREAT VIEW WITH A WONDERFUL STAFF - Saint George Inn never disappoints. We stay for everything if we are going to stay overnight, whether we are seeing a show at the Amp or just a little getaway for a few days. The rooms are always extremely clean and comfortable and as for location it can't be beat. Saint George staff has to be the best in the business as well from the time they meet you in the unloading zone to taking your bags to your room they are great. We will be back soon.
- FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY - We've stayed here many times and this time was just as great as the rest. Rooms are clean and unique. Staff is extremely friendly. Everyone here takes pride in what they do. We look forward to our next stay.
- GREAT LOCATION - This is our 4th year visiting St. Augustine and staying at the St. George Inn. The Inn has a fantastic location, right next to the pedestrian street, which is full of shops and restaurants... easy walking distance. When one wants to venture out further to see other sites in St. Augustine, a trolley stop is right next to the Inn... so convenient. We love sitting in the Inn's beautiful shaded courtyard every morning for breakfast and finishing our day off every evening in that courtyard with ice cream from Kilwin's, which is located right next door. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Always a pleasant vacation experience for us!
- AWESOME ACCOMMODATIONS - The service and our room were the most we could ever hope for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer as it was such a pleasant stay. The location to all that St. Augustine has to offer could not have been better. This was our second time staying at the St. George Inn and we will definitely be back.
- ENCHANTING WINE BAR - Great service wonderfully comfortable room with great view of Castillo! The room was surprisingly quiet. The room keys were definitely nostalgic and such a fun quirk! Finally the wonderful wine bar was a great touch! Our waiter picked great wines that my husband and I both loved and the charcuterie board was delicious. The live music was fun too making the setting relaxing and fun. Thank you St George’s Inn for a wonderful get away.
- TRIP OF A LIFETIME - The staff was extra nice and friendly. The room was spotless. Our room had a view of the courtyard and the old cemetery across the street which added to the ghost walk. This was truly one if the best trips I've taken with my wife and we plan to return many more times.
