Halloween

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in St. Augustine is always a special time. Widely-known as “America’s Oldest City,” there’s arguably no better place to experience and learn about the nation’s beginnings than here. Many of the city’s historical attractions are open Thanksgiving Day, including the Old Jail, Colonial Experience at Colonial Quarter, Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, and Fort Mose Historic State Park Museum. So tuck into some turkey, and then explore the area!

There’s nothing wrong with a white Christmas. But a white-sand Christmas in St. Augustine may be just the thing to beat those winter blahs. The Nights of Lights celebration is a legendarily joyful observance that illuminates the city with a festive display of holiday cheer. The St. Augustine Christmas Parade also brings a special yuletide glow to the area, complete with a visit from Santa himself. New Years Eve/Day
